Billboard Temptations

I get a little worried about the canadian population when I read billboards that say "Try our new fresh fruit, a new taste sensation." It is a little strage to me to think that people out there have not tasted fresh fruit. It is not like it is some exotic starfruit or the fruit of the cashew or something... cantelope, melon, pineapple and grapes are typical fruits... put in some apples, bananas and oranges and you would have your staple fruits around here. Maybe we are getting that lazy, we should not go shopping at all anymore and let our fridges house only condiments to put on our food that was delivered and let our cupboards fill up with plastic silverware... come on people!
I have not priced out this great invention....... now i have, $4.19 american, hmmm I wonder what it is here? With this you get some of each of the four fruits and a bit of yogurt. Now don't get me wrong, if you are to step into a place like Wendys I guess this would be a much healthier choice but I am sure that a packed lunch would give you a lot more, cost less, and really... how many people can turn down a burger once you have walked up to the cash register. It is a trap I say... they get you in there and the signs eventually wear you down until you are ordering a chicken sandwich combo biggie sized and an additional double bacon cheeseburger, that's right, no fruit. Maybe it is how the fruit is cut that makes it so amazing, but really how hard is it to make melon balls? Go to your local dollar store and pick up a melon baller and you will see... a monkey could handle it quite easily, look behind the counter one might be doing that now. If this is a new taste sensation for people then they have been missing out for years, and should blame their parents for giving them scurvey, I am just happy that the sign has been changed to "Enjoy our mozzarella supreme combo", at least they are telling the truth again.
